The Pearl of Africa: with her deep lakes, lush forests, wild waters and majestic mountains, Uganda forms the ultimate playground for adventure. However, her potential remains largely untapped, and many tourists never see beyond the famous safari parks and their luxury lodges. Adventure Tourism Uganda is there to change that! Not only by developing new products, but also by sharing engaging content with aspiring travellers.
- How to introduce the target group to Adventure Tourism Uganda (awareness)?

We created a strong and solid foundation: a strategy on how to build up a loyal fan base and increase followers in the meanwhile. The main goal of this marketing action plan was to know what exact activities to start with to achieve the goals of Adventure Tourism Uganda. What content to use? How to engage with followers to the extent of them telling their friend, neighbour or business partner about the potential of Uganda’s adventurous trails? How to push the target group in a certain action? We examined how to get enough traffic to the website or social channels to inspire Ugandans and foreigners to either stimulate, train themselves or discover and explore adventurous tourism in Uganda. One of the deliverables was a pragmatic action plan that can be systematically executed by third parties. Our final project was to design a magazine featuring articles written by adventure lovers in Uganda.
