About
Mustardseed Trust is a small charity with a big vision: a world where all beings live in partnership with the web of life. After decades of supporting regenerative projects across the globe, the Trust decided to redistribute its assets and close its operations, leaving behind a legacy of impact, partnerships, and inspiration.
The 2025 Jamboree in Nice marked the final gathering of this community. Over three days, partners came together to exchange perspectives on soil health, seaweed systems, nutrition, education, community currencies, and regenerative finance. It was a space of ideas, learning, wild exploration, and celebration of everything Mustardseed Trust nurtured into being.
THE CHALLENGE
This last Jamboree wasn’t “just” an event, it was a milestone. The challenge was to give form and memory to a closing chapter that was as abundant and meaningful as the years of work behind it. That meant designing physical and digital touchpoints that carried the brand’s spirit, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment, and capturing the lived experience so it could continue to resonate long after the gathering.
Our solution
We supported Mustardseed Trust with design, storytelling, and presence:
- A designed Program book that introduced all partners attending the Jamboree, as well as guiding them to the sessions, speakers, and spaces.
- Event Design: hallway banners, entrance signage, six customised posters, name badges and a gift bag with a Mustardseed-branded tote bag, hat, pins and stonepaper notebook.
- Photography & Videography: capturing not just moments, but the energy of exchange, and the vision of regeneration voiced by partners.
- Doughnut Economy for Kids: as invited partners ourselves, we were able to connect with partners and share our print-and-play project story supported by Mustardseed Trust.
The Result
The Jamboree became both a celebration and a closing ritual: a space where new seeds were planted even as one cycle ended. Our materials and visuals helped create coherence across the event, while our photography and film continue to carry the voices of Bela Hatvany, Emmy van Kleef, Alida Boon, and many others forward.
The legacy of Mustardseed Trust now lives on in its partners – and in the stories, images, and memories shared in Nice. For us, it also sparked new journeys into seaweed systems, wilding metrics, and storytelling experiments for the next generation.
“Like nature has life cycles, so does Mustardseed Trust. What remains is abundance.”
